The Botanical Gardens
is a great green space to waste an afternoon or early evening
if the weater is pleasant.
Only 10-15 mins walk from City Hall, it is home to a Victorian
Palmhouse, Tropical Ravine and the Ulster Museum.
The Gardens also play host to rock and classical concerts in
the summer months!

Queens
University, Belfast is one of the
top 20 Universities in Britain and Ireland. It is also the
only University to have five Nobel prize winners as past students,
the last two being David Trimble for Peace and Seamus Heaney
for Poetry.
It has quite a large student population (around 18,000) and
this area is totally devoid of politics. It is a very bohemian,
liberal and multi-cultural part of the city.
