The Waterfront Hall
is the focal point of the regeneration of Belfast itself. This
concert hall and conference venue plays host to many classical
and popular events all throughout the year, including the World
Irish Dancing Championships, held hear in February 2005.

Based around St
Anne's Cathedral, which is the main Church of Ireland
Cathedral in Belfast city centre, the Cathedral Quarter is
again undergoing major redevelopment.
The cathedral itself is
Hiberno-Romanesque in style and took over 80 years to complete.
It was not actually finished until 1982. It is a beautiful
building which facilitates free public viewing up to 4pm
each weekday afternoon
