| In 2008 there are over
35 cruise ships visiting Belfast, bringing over 40,000 visitors
to the city. If your ship includes Belfast on its itinerary it
is very easy to get on one of our tours. When your ship docks,
there will be a complimentary shuttle bus service to take you
the short distance from the port to the city centre (10 minute
drive). The shuttle service drops you off at the Belfast Welcome
Centre, which is the main tourist information centre and is
right beside Belfast City Hall.
Our departure point is only a two minute walk from the
Welcome Centre and our staff in red jackets will be at the
Welcome Centre and will be happy to provide you with a map and
directions to Castle Place.
Many visitors choose to use our online facility to buy
tickets for the tour as cruise ship days can be very busy and
this saves you queuing to buy tickets.
Keep in mind that the City Sightseeing tour is the only tour
that allows you to hop on and hop off throughout the city and
your tickets are valid for 24 hours (even though you may only be
docked for 8-10 hours).
Normally the shuttle bus service will operate throughout the
day and any specific questions regarding this service should be
directed to
www.gotobelfast.com
In any case, we look forward to seeing you (grey skies or
not)!
